Swing State makes your state, your putter! Show some state (or country) pride, and this club will 'putt' you in the spotlight. The ordering page will be dropping soon! If you want to be the first to get your putter, sign up in the box below! By signing up, you'll be among the first to receive exclusive updates and early supporter opportunities. You will even be able to help us decide which state we should design next! Also, don't forget to follow our social pages for more and to find us on Kickstarter as well. Thank you!
We currently have Minnesota, Arizona, and the USA (well, the lower 48) as putters ready for production and launching in the Kickstarter. We also have 25 other states that are somewhere in the process of becoming production ready! Our goal is to have a high quality putter for every state!
Our putters are CNC milled from a solid piece of high quality metal. We currently have designs that are from a beautifully milled single block of 303 stainless steel, as well as single block aircraft grade 6061 aluminum. They will be fully built with high quality shafts and grips to provide the highest quality possible to such a fun and unique putter!
Swing State was started by a guy in Minnesota who loves to have some fun with the game of golf. This idea started in 2019 as an idea I had while golfing one day with my mom. Just a simple thought that my home state of Minnesota resembled the shape of some putters that are on the market, and how fun it would be to have a putter like that. As months went by, this idea had taken a hold in my thoughts and it continued to grow. Eventually, this led me down the path of learning how exactly putters are designed, and the precise engineering behind them. I then took classes on CAD and engineering software and started designing. I then learned how to program and operate a CNC machine, so I could mill designs myself. This led to producing hundreds of prototypes as I iterated my designs. I also started reaching out to CNC and golf club experts to improve my skills and to refine the design. This culminated with design patents (some acquired, others pending) on these putter designs.
I'm looking to produce these at a larger volume to bring to golfers everywhere. And not just the current states, my goal is to continue to not only refine these designs with different materials and structures, but to expand to more states and designs. The Kickstarter project is the major launching point to help fulfil this goal.
