Join us on the green and let your game 'putt' you in the spotlight! Our Kickstarter will make your state, your putter! Make that clutch birdie in your scramble with a mallet-shaped Minnesota. Or be the talk of the course with a putter that's hotter than the state of Arizona. By signing up with your email address, you'll be among the first to receive exclusive updates and early supporter opportunities. You will even be able to help us decide which state we should craft next. So sign up with your email address, follow our social pages, and find us on Kickstarter as well. Thank you!
We currently have Minnesota, Arizona, and the lower 48 as our three putters. More states to come!
These putters milled from a solid piece of high quality metal. Current designs are from a single block of aircraft grade 6061 aluminum. Future designs are in the works to adjust the shape and weighting of the putters to provide an option for a beautifully milled single block of 303 stainless steel.
Swing State was started by a guy in Minnesota who loves to have some fun with the game of golf. This idea started in 2019 as an idea I had while golfing one day with my mom. Just a simple thought that my home state of Minnesota resembled the shape of some putters that are on the market, and how fun it would be to have a putter like that. As months went by, I kept thinking about this idea, as it had taken a hold in my thoughts and continued to grow. Eventually, this led me down the path of learning how putters are designed, and the precise engineering behind them. I also learned how they're made, and I took classes on CAD and engineering software. Next was understanding how to program and operate a CNC machine, so I could mill designs myself. This led to producing hundreds of prototypes as I iterated the designs. I also started reaching out to CNC and golf club experts to improve my skills and to refine the design. And finally, these putters (and future ones) have a design patent or have patents pending for them.
This is where I am today. I have great working prototypes and initial products. I'm looking to produce these at a larger volume to bring to golfers everywhere. And not just the current states, my goal is to continue to not only refine these designs with different materials and structures, but to expand to more states and designs. The Kickstarter project is to help fulfil this goal and to continue to build and improve.
